At IntroVet™, we love good food, and we know there’s no time to waste choosing a restaurant after a big day of conferencing! So, we’ve put together a list of our top five Mexican restaurants for you to check out while in town.

Mi Tierra Café and Bakery

In the heart of Market Square lies one of San Antonio's most esteemed culinary landmarks. Opened in 1941, and now open 24 hours, Mi Tierra’s hallmark breakfasts and truly memorable tacos, enchiladas, chalupas, and house specialties, all made from fresh ingredients, are served all day. The giant, carved-oak bar serves up aged tequilas, authentic margaritas, draught beer, and mixed drinks. The bakery has an enormous selection of pan dulces (Mexican pastries) and excellent coffee.

Rosarios

Rosarios on S. Alamo Street is a favorite among locals. This restaurant has been serving mouth-watering dishes to San Antonio residents for 30 years. During an evening at Rosarios, you can look forward to creative dishes, unparalleled customer service, and a fresh, upscale atmosphere. We recommend trying the albondigas, tacos, parrillas and margaritas!

La Fogata Mexican Cuisine

La Fogata Mexican Cuisine on Vance Jackson has been impressing the San Antonio community for 40 years. Its name, which translates to “open flame”, highlights the chefs’ unique style of cooking. The smell of fire-roasted salsa, fresh tortillas, and citrus fill the air. Choose a table in the expansive outdoor garden for colorful and vibrant scenery while you enjoy a meal with friends!

Tito’s Mexican Restaurant

Located on S. Alamo Street in San Antonio, Tito’s Mexican Restaurant is proudly owned and operated by the Rodriguez family. With an older and unassuming exterior, the Rodriguez family has crafted a relaxed dining atmosphere with authentic Tex-Mex dishes. These secret family recipes have been passed down for generations and are beloved by our residents.
