MEET THE SPEAKER
Jane Quandt
DVM, MS, DACVAA, DACVECC
Dr. Jane Quandt graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. She then went on to complete an Anesthesia Residency and Master’s in anesthesia at University of Minnesota and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia in 1993. Dr. Quandt then also completed a Residency in Small Animal Critical Care at the University of California at Davis and the University of Minnesota and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2007.
Dr. Quandt has authored 26 textbook chapters on subjects ranging from anesthesia to toxicology to emergency and critical care. She has authored countless papers for peer-reviewed journals, guided many interns, residents, and master’s students, and is a favorite speaker across the country. As a tenured professor at the University of Georgia, Dr. Quandt has been chosen by her students numerous times to receive Outstanding Teacher Awards, and has also been recognized with Outstanding Clinician and Faculty Awards.
