Through this four-part series, Certified Compassion Fatigue Specialist and Life Coach, Julie Squires, will share actionable and concrete steps for overcoming challenges like perfectionism, imposter syndrome, compassion fatigue, and burnout. She’ll also explain what “work-life balance” really means and walk viewers through a simple process for goal-setting.
As you complete each video in this four-part series, you’ll be guided through the course’s companion workbook, provided with your registration!

Register Now!PART 1: Taking Your Emotional TPR
(3 videos, 3.5 credit hours)
In this segment, you will be guided through an assessment to bring awareness to the thoughts and feelings that are currently impacting your mental state. Consider it your emotional TPR! From there, learn what “work-life” balance actually is, and define what it means to YOU. Finally, you’ll be introduced to the “Think-Feel-Act Cycle” to understand the relationship between thoughts, feelings, and actions. Learn how to use this concept to take control and adjust your own thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

PART 2: The Thoughts that Create Your Reality
(3 videos, 3 credit hours)
In part two, viewers will be guided through a constructive look inward, as you study the concepts of perfectionism and imposter syndrome and consider how they might apply to your own life. Complete a guided self-assessment to understand your level of inclination towards perfectionism and imposter syndrome. Then, learn ways to empower yourself to overcome them!
To bring the concepts home, you’ll practice using a “Thought Ladder” to transform unwanted and unhelpful thoughts into useful ones.

PART 3: Discover Your Self-Care Language
(2 videos, 2 credit hours; PLUS a bonus guided meditation video)
In this segment, you will learn to think of and treat yourself as you would a good friend. Hear how the historical socialization of women in particular has led to feelings of self-doubt and mistrust. Learn how to practice self-compassion, hear how other people in your same roles are also feeling, and create an inventory of your current self-care routines. Don’t have any? That’s ok! Julie will share lots of ideas for getting started!
Plus - enjoy a guided meditation practice, which you can return to as many times as you wish!

PART 4: Set Goals and Take Action
(2 videos, 1.5 credit hours)
In this final segment of the Creating a Life You Love Series, you will create a list of things you WANT for your life and things you DON’T, and use that list to identify at least one goal. Learn what criteria are needed to make a realistic goal, and create your own 60-day plan to reach your chosen goal. Finally, you’ll tie everything you’ve learned together, outline your next step forward, consider what the obstacles may be, strategize, and make a commitment to your future self.
