Tips, Tricks, and Tape Tabs
In this new video series, we’ll nail down common emergency procedure techniques for every clinic. Dr. Lee makes centesis a breeze with and without ultrasound, demonstrating proper procedural techniques through several video examples. Then, Dr. Watson will untangle catheter lines and feeding tubes alike to place, maintain, and troubleshoot vital patient care resources. Using video examples and practical, financially feasible solutions, viewers will understand their options and feel confident in performing life-saving measures.

MEET OUR SPEAKERS
Stuart Walton
BVSc, BScAgr, MANZCVS (SAIM), DACVIM
Dr. Walton is a clinical assistant professor in Small Animal Internal Medicine at University of Florida. He is a clinician of 20 years, earning his veterinary degree at the University of Queensland. He has completed two internal medicine residencies at Veterinary Specialist Services (Australia) and Louisiana State University. Dr. Walton currently resides in Gainesville, Florida, where he trains students, interns, and residents while promoting common-sense veterinary medicine. He has a broad range of interests including infectious and inflammatory diseases, immune-mediated disease, respiratory, urinary, gastrointestinal, and hepatic disease as well as extracorporeal blood purification techniques. He is the Co-Editor of the soon-to-be released textbook Clinical Medicine of the Dog and Cat and has authored multiple articles and book chapters.
Justine Lee
DVM, DACVECC, DABT
Dr. Justine Lee is a board-certified veterinary specialist in both emergency critical care (DACVECC) and toxicology (DABT). Dr. Lee attended veterinary school at Cornell University and completed her internship at Angell (Boston, MA). She completed her fellowship and residency in emergency and critical care at University of Pennsylvania. Previously, she was on faculty at University of Minnesota (2003-2008) and the head of an animal poison control center (2008-2013). She is the founder and CEO of VETgirl, a subscription-based podcast and webinar service offering RACE-approved, online veterinary continuing education.
